Add/Remove Internet Explorer icon to/from Desktop | Print |  E-mail

To add or remove the Internet Explorer icon from the Desktop, right click on the Desktop and click on Properties. Click on the Desktop tab, and click on the Customise Desktop button. Select/Deselect the Internet Explorer tickbox depending on whether you want the Internet Explorer icon shown or hidden on the Desktop.

To automatically clear the Temporary Internet Files when Internet Explorer is closed go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, scroll down to near the bottom and check Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed.
