Access a Hotmail Account with Outlook | Print |  E-mail

Note: You will need to make sure have an MSN Hotmail Plus subscription for the Hotmail account you want to access.

From the top of the window Select Tools, E-mail Accounts. Select Add a new e-mail account and then click Next. Choose HTTP as the Server Type and click Next again.

Enter in your account details as prompted.

Select Hotmail in the HTTP Mail Service Provider box and then click Next followed by clicking Finish.

To add a reminder, click on Calendar on the bottom left of the Outlook window. In the top left of the window select the date you wish to set a reminder on, and on the right double click on a time and the reminders configuration window will open.

From the top of the window select Tools and then Options. Go to the Mail Format tab. From under Stationary and Fonts click Fonts.

From here you can set the default font for composing a new message, when replying or forwarding a message as well as composing a message in plain text.

Once you are done configuring as you wish confirm the chaneg by clicking OK.

Begin composing a new e-mail message and then from the top of the window select View, and make sure Bcc Field is ticked.

Now when composing a new e-mail from the menu Use the Bcc... field like the To... and Cc... fields.

To get reminded to reply to a message in Outlook:

Right-click on the message you want to set the reminder for. Select Flag for Follow Up from the context menu. Choose the date when you have to completed the task. Click OK.
