Moitored folders are folders which are checked for new, deleted, renamed or moved media folders. To add a folder to be monitored go to Tools > Options > Library > Monitor Folders and click on Add and browse your computer for a folder.

To change the skin, click on View > Skin Chooser and select the skin you wish to use. If you click the skin name ones, it will preview it on the right hand side. To apply the skin, simply double click it or click on Apply Skin in the top left of the screen. To change back to normal mode, press Ctrl + 1.

To check for updates to Media Player via the Internet, click on Help > Check for Player updates.

You can download additional content such as plug-ins, skins, visualisations and drivers by going to Tools > Download and then clicking the category for the content you wish you download.

If you like to play a lot of videos and find Windows are popping up on top of your Media Player, simply go to Tools > Options, and on the Player tab, check the box next to Keep the Player on top of other windows.

With the Enhancements menu, you can alter the Equaliser settings, change the video settings or even change the colour of your Media Player. To open the enhancements menu, go to View > Enhancements > Show Enhancements.

To switch subtitles on (if available) or off, go to Play > Captions and Subtitles and then click the appropriate option.
